The Shirtpocket Underwater Camcorder is a submersible video camera that can capture everything from your kids playing in the pool, to beautiful coral reefs – up to 10 feet (3m) below the surface.
Slightly larger than a deck of cards, the Shirtpocket Camcorder features a 2.5″ swivel LCD, an 8-megapixel sensor and includes a 2GB SD memory card which can capture up to 60 minutes of 640×480 video at 30fps. Alternatively, if you prefer stills, you can also fit up to 300 (3264 x 2448 resolution) images right out of the box. The Underwater Camcorder also supports SD memory cards up to 8GB for longer underwater shooting.
The camcorder includes a 4x digital zoom and can also serve as a voice recorder and play back MP3s – for a bit of waterside music whilst lounging in the sun. Its Lithium-Ion battery can fetch up to 115 minutes of continuous operation and can be fully recharged in 2 hours.
The Shirtpocket Underwater Camcorder can connect to your computer via USB to download your above and below-water video and pics and is available now from Hammacher Schlemmer for $199.95.
