SolidAlliance has brought too much complexity to their new USB flash drive, called the Mnemosyne. This USB flash drive needs you to go through dissembling a puzzle cube in order to reach the 16GB USB flash drive that stores your data.

The construction of the puzzle cube seems to have cost a whopping $10,000. The idea came from the two Italy-based designers Toshi Satoji and Katsuya Masaki. Basically, dissembling the puzzle cube does not need you to possess the knowledge of Rocket science. You just need to pull out each component or brick of the puzzle cube, much like what you do with a LEGO creation.

After all the hard work of dissembling the puzzle cube, now you get the 16GB USB memory stick. But this sounds really absurd by having the user to dissemble the puzzle in order to reach the USB flash drive that stores the data.
