Samsung have announced an innovative new point-and-shoot called the DualView TL225 that features two LCD displays – one on the front and one on the rear – to help users compose their own self-portraits and capture better timed group shots.

The TL225’s 1.5-inch front LCD works as a kind of vanity mirror, giving you similar composition control in front of the lens as you’d expect behind it. This standout DualView feature is backed by some impressive software too, including Child Mode that plays animations through the front LCD to help attract the attention of youngsters. Also, in self-timer mode, the front display shows the countdown in large numbers so everyone in your self-inclusive group shots knows when to smile and not blink. To be doubly sure, the camera can also be set to take a second shot automatically without you running back to set it up.
