You just sit with your eyes gently closed and the headset as well as the glasses on. The glasses will flash the colored LED lights, which your brain will naturally attempt to interpret. That in turn makes you visualize all kinds of pretty patterns produced by your own mind. The headset does emit some sounds, but they don’t really describe what kind. For the glasses they include some stickers you can put over the LED lights if they are too bright for you.
