Known for building machines as brutish as they are loud, Orange County Choppers has produced this paradoxical bike touted as the “first custom electric American chopper.” The showpiece exhibits the trademark OCC outrageous ode to flair and themed design, but this time you won’t hear it coming from a mile away. … Read More

Everyone knows that trees combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide out of the air. Now, plant leaves are tackling global warming in another way — by serving as models for a technology that produces clean, renewable power. Of all eco-friendly gadgets, a lot of the eco-friendly lights are my absolute least favorite gadget. Specifically the flashlights that are powered by being wound up. They always seem to be far too dim to actually see what it is you’re doing. Hopefully since this one is solar powered as opposed to the type that you wind up, they’ll be a little on the brighter side of things. Certainly the number of LED lights that they crammed into this flashlight will help at least a little bit.
It has a total of 10 LED lights within it, one would think that would make it easier to see what it is you’re shining the light on. The flashlight itself is 250mm long with a diameter of 28mm. It has a built-in rechargeable Li-on battery. Unfortunately on Chinavasion, they aren’t selling these individually. At least that’s how it appears. They give the price each if you buy 2 or more as being set at $9.79 a piece. However, they don’t give the price of them if you buy just one flashlight.
