The Life Size Mousetrap is a supersized version of the classic Mousetrap board game
we all played as kids. Or tried to play, that game never worked right. This 25 ton Rube Goldberg contraption has an end result of dropping a 2 ton bank safe from a 30 foot crane. At the recent Maker Faire in New York City, they dropped the safe on a taxicab. Here’s a video (note that just like the real board game, the ball gets stuck and need a little help):
The Life Size Mousetrap is a traveling attraction so check it out in a city near you (if you happen to be near Apache Pass, TX later this month).
