Bubbleator

This is an interesting – and very involved and pricey – product. But sometimes I forget how lucky I am that I am able to walk into a dispensary and get some hash. Do you love hash enough to go through this?

Additional Requirements: 1 five gallon bucket, paper towels or cotton dish towel, 1 bag of ice cubes (enough to keep water temp down to 40 degrees)

Process: Fill Bubbleator with half a bag of ice and add cold water to the mid line on the window. Set the machine to run 2 minutes to mix the ice with water. Check that the temp has reached desired temp (40) if not add more ice and mix 2 more minutes.

Fill the pyramid bag with up to 300 grams of frozen leaf material – fresh or dried – and set the timer for 3 to 8 minutes. When Bubbleator stops open the lid and squeeze all water out of the material in the bag. Hang hose in bucket and let drain.

Hook hose back on machine and remove the 220 mc cleaner bag – it should contain only leaf material. Remove the 2nd bag; dunk in water 3 or 4 times to collect crystals in the center of the screen. Repeat crystals from the bag and put in the sieve and push through onto a piece of cardboard.

Allow 48 hours for drying. It’s suggested that you do this process up to 3 times to keep getting any residual crystals that are left over.

Overall: Bubbleator does exactly what it says it does, but I found that if you’re using less than the max amount of material you don’t want to run it for too long, as it will result in plant material getting through.

When I did this the first time it gave me green hash, not the pure crystals I was hoping for. You just need to eyeball it and use some common sense as far as timing goes. If you do this while high, be prepared to f*^k up your results. I used the machine twice – once with high quality organic – which gave me positive results, and once with schwag that showed green hash.

It really isn’t worth the time and effort if you’re going to use crappy weed, the hash will be worthless. Green hash is not worth smoking, I got a shitty taste and a bad headache for all that work.

If you have the material to spare this is a great investment but not for the casual hash maker/smoker. I’ve used another method with mixer and buckets – ghetto bathtub method – and this was much easier. –valluco956
